De chique 'climate control' is waarschijnlijk op papier goed maar werkt in praktijk niet. Kamer is heet, hoewel het buiten amper 23°C was. Ze koelt pas tegen de volgende morgen af, na een nacht met beide kipramen en gordijnen open. Volgende avond bij terugkeer weer bloedheet terwijl de vraagtemperatuur op 17°C staat. Aan de receptie hebben ze alleen een dummy kaart om te vermijden dat het bij het verlaten van de kamer volledig uitvalt, maar dat helpt niet. Bij gebruik van de inloopdouche spat het water de halve badkamer rond en onder het toilet staat zelfs een plas water. Ook niet erg goed ontworpen/uitgevoerd. Kamer was proper. Ontbijt en diner waren in orde.

Betreft Wellness Helmond: Wegens ziekte vergeten te bellen om de reservering te plaatsen. Een dag later een no show e-mail, dus direct gebeld. “We kunnen niks meer hieraan doen.” Wauw, waar is de gastvrijheid gebleven? Meedenken met de gast? De planning was daar te dineren, dus omzet voor hen. Ze zouden er meer aan verdient hebben door de reservering te verplaatsen en dat ik alsnog geld had uitgegeven. En daarbij een blije gast die een positief woord verspreid. Wat ze nu hebben bereikt: een boze klant, die niet meer terug komt en mondeling ook zeker geen positief woord zal delen. En dan gaat het puur om een wellness bezoek wat hen verder niks extra’s meer kost.

We dachten gezellig de gaan lunchen op het terras. Er kwam niemand. Zelf maar naar binnen gelopen om te vragen of de keuken open was. Het zag er nogal donker en leeg uit binnen. Jongen achter de bar moest eerst even zijn grote glas drinken opdrinken voordat hij ja kon zeggen. Toen ik hem zei dat we buiten zaten antwoorde hij "MOET u een kaart". Het enige wat we toen moesten was heel snel wegwezen. Dit was de zoveelste en nu ook de laatste poging om daar iets te gaan gebruiken.

Le staff du restaurant ne parle presque pas anglais, les prix sont vraiment trop élevé pour ce Service mediocre, interdit de commander de la nourriture de l’extérieur ils poussent à commander au restaurant de l’hôtel qui propose peu et cher.. on ne fournit même pas de l’eau.. obligé de payer une bouteille de 50cl à 4€ au distributeur… les chambres ne sont pas propres, toiles d'araignée, poussière en quantité… personnel froid.. vraiment je ne recommande pas .. affiché 4 étoiles… il n’en vaut même pas 2… vraiment déçu, je voyage très souvent au Pays-Bas, c’est de loin le pire hôtel que j’ai réservé… Qualité prix = -10
